It’s official. I’ve done it. I have my Daddy wrapped around my little finger. I know he fought the idea of having a little princess in the house, but when he sees me with a little pink dress and a bow in my hair and a big smile on my face he just melts. Mission accomplished! It really wasn’t that hard because I love my daddy SOOOO much. He is so sweet and happy and talks to me all the time. Mommy gets busy a lot with my big brothers hounding her so Daddy and I just sit in the corner together making fun of the chaos and enjoying each other’s company. Mommy likes our special bond too because Daddy is usually willing to get up early in the morning to spend time with his princess.
I’ve been sleeping through the night for about a month now. Mommy and Daddy are amazed. I think it’s because my brothers have trained me. They exhaust mommy & daddy during the day so it takes a lot for my parents to wake up at night. And I just don’t have that in me. Especially if it disturbs my daddy. My brothers are SO entertaining. I just sit in my little chair and watch them run around all day. I like their cartoon shows too, especially Mickey Mouse.
Well, it’s time for me to be cute some more.

I’m looking forward to getting Adam’s party over with so we can start focusing on mine. Maybe we’ll have trains or zoo animals for my party theme. My absolute favorite things these days are imitating animal noises. I like to pull out every book I own and hunt for animals in the pages. Of course I still love my ducks. But, I also love pigs. I imitate a pig sound by making snoring noises. It actually sounds pretty close to a real pig. On Sunday, the family went to a village picnic where there was a petting zoo. It was great. Adam and I ran around and pet every animal we could catch. I just went as fast as I could touching each animal once on the butt and then going after the next one. I would point at the chickens and go “bawk bawk bawk.” I would walk up to the sheep and say BAAAAAA! right to their face. I even found a spotted sheep I just called a cow for convenience sake and would shout MOOOOO! It was a lot of fun.
I also have all 4 of my canine teeth coming in at once. This is very painful but I’m a tough kid. At night I like to mimic my brother’s complaints to get mommy and daddy going. For example, I asked to be tucked in and after they turn their back I kick off my blankets and ask to be tucked in again. I have to be careful though because they won’t play that game for long. At night I sleep with Roo (who I call Mouse) and Tigger. Mommy tucks all 3 of us in and give us each a kiss. Then I give them kisses too.
Everything is going well. I love my little sister Ubetah and I try to be gentle around her. I told Mommy we could use even more kids around this house. She just rolled her eyes at me.

Day-Day
Adam Dobbs is tree today! I get to have Happy Birthday cake. And blow candles. Green ones! I eat pizza for lunchtime. And go upside and play! Mommy said, “Happy Birthday Adam!” I said, “Happy Birthday Mommy! I love you!” My Happy Birthday Party is on Sunday and I get balloons and cake and green candles. Mommy says there will be fire trucks on my cake. I want my party now! Day-day and Ubetah will be at my party too. I love getting my birthday cards in the mail. I say, “My mail!” and open it up and tell mommy all about the pictures on my cards. I wish it were my birthday every day.
Now that I’m three I’m a big boy. I’m pretty much potty trained now (except for at night)..slap a diaper on me at night and I am good to go. But, during the day I know I need to pee in the potty and I do it like a pro. My favorite prizes are truck stickers that I wear like tattoos and don’t take off until mommy washes them off at bathtime. Now that I have potty training down I really need to start sleeping in my bed all night. Mommy is not too happy because I wake up in the middle of the night and lay on the floor by her bed and sleep there the rest of the night. The rule is I can’t touch anything or wake her up. Otherwise she makes me sleep in the room with Day-Day. I can’t help it. I want to be close to Mommy.
I have fun playing with Day-Day and Ubetah these days. I’ve been teaching Day-Day to say “Bah-Uhm” instead of Milk. It drives our parents crazy so we find it entertaining. I like to sing to Ubetah and play with her bouncy chair. She smiles at me a lot.
Well I hope you all can make it to my Happy Birthday Party. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Love,
Adam
