So Mommy finally did it! She got a FSA. That's when you study too much and they finally come in and tell you not to study so much. That makes you a fellow in the society of actuaries. So yea, I was all excited thinking I will finally get the attention I deserve. NOPE!

Mommy went to atlanta for the week to party it up with other people who study too much. Then on friday Daddy went out to Atlanta for them to have a nice dinner and mommy got recognized for all her work. Then they came home to their wonderful child. NOPE!

Daddy and Mommy stayed out there for the weekend! The nerve!

I did get some quality time with Nanna and Grandpa. They gave me a bath and bought me big-boy-diapers. Not for older children, but basically 12 hour diapers for night time. They gave me baths, had a funny stuffed bird that chirped, and a bigger tv. So I didn't really miss the P's that much. My GP's did an acceptable job watching me. C+

I'm getting so big now. Mom and Dad can't keep up. Mom and Dad went to Milwaukee over the weekend and when they came back I gave them a smile and I had grown 2 more teeth! I was a busy boy. Now I have 6 teeth (4 on top and 2 on bottom). My mommy started putting the side of my crib up at night because she's caught me trying to drag myself out of the crib. You can't get much past Mommy.

Mommy is gone this week in DC. So, I'm being extra cranky for daddy since he let her go. Don't worry, when she gets back I'll let her know how rude that was. But, it's okay. Sometimes it's nice to get some boy time at home. Daddy usually lets me punch the keys on his computer when mom's out of town.

Hello to all my fans. It's been a long time since you've heard from me and I have LOTS of news to share. First things first, I am still getting cuter every day. Yes, I know many of you think that couldn't be possible since I'm so cute to begin with, but believe it. Anyway, let me tell you about my eventful week. Well, a little over a week ago I decided it would be fun to start rolling over onto my stomach in the middle of the night. There was one problem though. I HATED being on my stomach and I would cry and cry until mommy or daddy came and rescued me. We were all getting pretty frustrated about this rolling over thing when it would happen three or four times throughout the night. Mommy thought I'd have to learn to just sleep on my belly. But the problem was I was rolling over and trying to make a jail break at the same time. So sometimes my arms would be hanging out of the crib. One time I had both legs up to my thighs out of the crib (but I was too big to squeeze the rest of me out) and I was stuck!! So finally mommy decided let's get rid of the swaddle even though I could break out of it in just minutes. I've loved my swaddle for 7.5 months but I suppose mommy was right that it had to go sometime. The first night without my swaddle mommy laid me down, tucked me into my blankie, and gave me my elmo doll to cuddle with. I thought this was hilarious. I started kicking the blanket and lifting elmo in the air and grabbing my feet. So, silly mommy could think this was how to put me to bed....and then my memory goes blank. The next thing I knew it was 12 hours later and I was sound asleep on my belly. Mommy had to come in and wake me up the next morning. Now they put me to bed, tuck me in with elmo and leave the room. I immediately flip onto my belly, snuggle with elmo and wake up 12 hours later. I even sleep until 7:30 instead of 7:00 some mornings because my belly is so comfy. It's great.

Now, there's been even more that's been changing besides my good looks and my new sleep habits. One morning mommy put me in my walker and she ran away to the bathroom. By the time she came back I had scooted the entire length of the kitchen and was at the refrigerator pulling the magnets and pictures off (one of my new favorite games). Then she moved me again and got a drink of water. When she turned around I had my hands in the garbage can and was playing with the garbage (so much fun). So then she moved the garbage into the carpetted room and went to make me a bottle. She turned around again and I had scooted my walker up onto the carpet and was playing in the garbage again. Carpet can't stop me!! Mommy wasn't too thrilled, but I was.

Aside from that I also take baths in daddy's tub now. It's officially the boys only bathroom! I get freaked out by the echoing noises, but I like my bath toys so I only get scared for the first few seconds. Then I try to grab my toys before they float away. I don't know how they do it.

Okay, well that's it for now. I'm growing up fast, getting a little more hair (but not much) and learning lots of new things. I'll keep everyone posted.

Hey everyone it has been a while! I have been very busy working out doing sit-ups, push-ups and general tom-foolery. Last weekend mommy went crackbooking for the weekend. Daddy said she needed to have a weekend to talk about her feelings so we do not have to hear them. I'm glad she got some time to herself. I figured daddy and I would just hangout. Oh no. He took me to valpo to see Mr. Will, Ali and Nick. It was fun, but a little to much for me. When I went to bed daddy went to northsides. I think it's by the north pole, so I told daddy to put a good word in for me with santa. Yea right! My old man was trying to act like a "young-hipster," good try pops.

Well off to the crib.

My knees are aching, my back is sore, and even my teeth hurt. I'm SO old now! This sitting around all day stuff is getting old. I suppose I better learn to walk or crawl soon so I can get in my exercise. You know, knocking down cups of water and pulling down table cloths. I'm working on it. Right now daddy is gone in Idaho for the week. Yes, you heard me. A WHOLE week! Poor mommy and me. We just sit around at night staring at each other waiting to be entertained. So, now we both just go to bed early because daddy isn't here to make us laugh.

I have four teeth now. I drink out of a regular cup sometimes. I eat a whole jar of baby food (none of this half stuff for me). Mommy wakes up to me with my arms and legs hanging out of the crib as I try to break free. My favorite game is Peek-a-boo (never gets old). I love to babble. Hmm..what else about me..oh yeah...I get cuter every day.

The other day mommy decided to give me a small piece of her banana since I eat my baby banana food all of the time and I have 4 teeth now. She put it on my tongue and I instantly started gagging and throwing up everywhere. Yuck! I have sensitive taste buds.

Well, it's back to sleep for me. Catch you all later!

My top right tooth popped in today. Now I have two bottom teeth and one top tooth. I'm so excited because now I have two ways to get what I want 1) crying and 2) biting. I love this new freedom!

Rumor has it mommy and daddy are taking me to get a flu shot today. They better not be -- or I'll bite them!

So yea, my week 27 video has been identified for "copyright infringement!" The radio had some music in the background and that is a no no for the big music industry, who hates babys and clubs baby seals for no reason. They appear to have burrowed into Youtube's head and eaten the brains. They probably have laid a bunch of eggs in there. Haven't you people ever heard of fair use!

Anyway I was ready to take it to the supremes, but pops just took out the offending music. I say offending in that the song is terrible, not that it violated anyone's copyright.

I've been so busy with Christmas, Uncle Bryan's wedding and mommy going out of town that I completely forgot to tell everyone about my 6 month check-up on 12/23. I weighed 22 lbs and was 25.5" long. Boy am I growing fast! They gave me 4 shots. Boo! I was a little fussy over Christmas because of all of the shots and teething but I pulled myself together for uncle Bryan and Aunt Kristin's wedding.

Mommy went to see Baby Aiden and Big Boy Trevor last week and she came home and told me all about it. She thinks I'm not a baby anymore after being around little aiden, but I was sure to fuss and cry so that she didn't forget!

These days I love my squash. Mommy tries to only feed me half a container, but I won't let her stop there and I make her feed me every last drop. Delicious!

Okay, that's it for now. I'm harrassing Daddy to put up new pics so hopefully they will be up soon!

I think the best thing in the world would be to be a bunny rabbit. That would mean that I could eat carrots ALL DAY LONG! Yummy! So, Mommy was feeding me my carrots (straight up) last night and I kept opening my mouth before she could even get another spoonful and start crying if she didn't get them to me fast enough. Then I just sat myself up and leaned forward and tried to face plant the bowl so that I could eat them faster. Come on mommy! I'm a growing boy and I LOVE my carrots!!

Last night mommy, daddy and I were playing a game. I would do my fake cough and then mommy would fake cough and then I would fake cough and laugh. Then daddy would fake cough, so I would fake cough and laugh. We are all such drama queens when it comes to our coughing.

I like to spend the night breaking free of my swaddle and then grabbing onto the crib and try to break out. I'm starting to get good at sitting myself up so my parents better watch out because one of these nights I am determined to break out of that swaddle and crib. I know I'll do it someday! Watch out mommy and daddy!

Anyway, mommy is leaving for LA tomorrow to see baby Aiden and big boy Trevor. I am going to "try" to be good for Daddy but I'll be sure to give him his money's worth! Wish me luck!

Yay! Uncle Bryan and Aunt Kristin are married!!! Aunt Kristin was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. I guess Uncle Bryan cleaned up "ok" as well. He is one smart man for snatching her up before she got away. I really had my heart set on having Kristin as my aunt. Good work Uncle Bryan! When I saw Aunt Kristin right before the wedding I couldn't help but smile lots. I was a little fussy during the wedding but that's because I was just antsy for the "I do" part. I liked the reception a lot because there were lots of pretty things to look at. It was a bit loud for my taste, but then again just about everything is a bit loud for my taste. That's why I'm a baby. It was great getting to meet so many of the relatives that I hear are big fans of my website. What can I say. I do my best to give the people what they want!

Nana and Grandpa looked especially sharp at the wedding! Unfortunately, I had to do my best not to spit up on everyone since they were in their sunday best. Great Gma Shum had a sparkly top on and I loved watching her shimmer! Aunt Suzy and Gma & Gpa Karius took care of me during the wedding. I tried to steal the show a couple of times, but they would usher me out so I couldnt' get too disruptive. I tried to tell them that was my job, but they wouldn't hear any of it!

Mommy is a little concerned about me these days because I've decided I no longer prefer sleeping through the night. Not only that but I get up twice in the middle of the night. The problem is that I have this terrible cough and a runny nose that is quite irritating. Mommy tries to wipe my nose but I just shake my head back and forth really fast so she cant' get me. Then she comes at me with this blue suction thing and she tries to stick it up my nose but silly mother...you should know by now that anything coming towards my face goes in my mouth not my nose. So, I fight her (and I must say I usually win). With all that being said, I have TWO teeth now. I'm a busy boy.

Also, I tried carrots for the first time. DELICIOUS! I could eat carrots all day long. YUM YUM.

Well the nanny is back today. It's so nice to be done with all of these amatuers. Nanny Lois will get me back on track. And now that the excitement is over I get to play with all of my new Christmas toys! Yay!

Yea it's Christmas! I get lots of presents today. Actually I got to open them last night, but that's way too much work. I just want to play with them! Who's idea was it to chain these gifts up so I have to work so hard to get to them. That's just cruel!

This is awesome! I cut my first tooth yesterday while mommy was away. Daddy always said that when I get teeth I can bite just like he did as a baby. I can't wait for my first victim.

So yea, mom left early for some "client meeting" at around 3pm. Pops put me down just after 6 because I was "fussy." Help me out here folks. It's awful, mom won't be back until tonight, so I won't really get to see her until tomorrow. Who's going to take care of me? Pops is more interested in Tasha, his new computer. He says we'll use her to create a webpage allowing everyone to make family pages like mine, but what about micky mouse club? That's my favorite tv show.

Oh, and don't forget, Christmas is here. Yea, it's when we celebrate a certain saviors birth, but it's also a special time of the year when we remember how cute I am, and get me presents!

Yummy! This is the first food that I did not gag while eating for the first time. My diet has consisted of green veggies (yuck!) up until this week. Then Mommy gave me Bananas (not my monkey..the fruit..or so she says). I gagged at those until mommy stuck them in my cereal. Then I got used to them. Now today I got sweet potatoes. I smiled after tasting them and then opened my mouth really big for more!!

Next week is Christmas! Yeah! I can't wait for Grandma and Grandpa Karius to come along with Aunt Suzy. And then if that weren't enough Uncle Bryan and Aunt Kristin are coming too and getting married. Hmmm..if I remember correctly...first comes the love, then comes the marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage!!! Sweet! (No pressure Uncle Bryan and Aunt Kristin).

Okay. Back to watching Micky Mouse Clubhouse.
