Yea, so I twisted my ankle a bit jumping down from my bunkbed. I heard Adam go downstairs to talk to mom and data last night. I came down behind him. Mom said, "Now what are you doing out of bed?". I said "My leg hurts. I need lotion" As everyone knows, lotion helps a sprained ankle, as I have found. Dad laughed. Mom said "ok, go ahead".
After putting lotion on, I quitely went back to bed with my ankle feeling better!

So dad and the Costco tire guy were impressed with me. After 30 seconds alone I cried. Using my mad skills, I manage to drop a tire over myself confining both arms. First time for everyone! The tire guy could not figure out how I even did it.
Skillz!
So why is it that everyone keeps saying they can't wait until they can go out drinking with me someday? First Aunt Suzy said it and now Daddy says he agrees. I guess it has something to do with my latest "go with the flow" and "life's too short" mentality. I'm enjoying being 3. I pretty relaxed and just tell mommy she's the best mommy and I have decided to just go ahead and do what I am asked because there are a lot less tears shed by everyone that way. Tonight I was eating dinner with the family and adam and Rebekah didn't last very long at the table. In the meantime, I ate my beans quietly while Mom and Dad talked about their days. I occassionally interrupted by saying excuse me and asking if I could eat from my siblings abandoned plates. I even had some extra broccoli. My mom was VERY happy. I think this new persona of mine is fitting for me.
Love, David.
Off I go to Adam's school. I guess it's both of our school now. I can't wait to play with my caboose! It's all I've been talking about for a month now. Watch out Little Lambs...there's a new Dobbs in town!
You just wait until I get tall enough to get you up there Adam.... I need to drink more milk :-)
Hello fans. I haven't posted anything in quite awhile because I've been busy changing my attitude. I woke up one day and realized that I was 2.5. Now that I am so mature I've decided that my attitude needed to change as well. Now all I see is the silver lining in life and my blue eyes flutter with love and adoration for my mommy and daddy too. Mom and Dad are pretty ecstatic about the change and I've noticed I get a lot more attention from the ladies when I'm cute instead of angry. My favorite phrases are, "bive me a hug!" and "Bive me five!"
Life is good!
David!
FYI, it turns out green beans in ketchup is delicious! Who would have known?
Well actually everything in ketchup (or salsa) is delicious.

Tonight Mommy decided to have a sing-a-thon before bedtime. As she laid down in the bed next to Adam and sang I hopped on her back. We would sing, "Yes Jesus loves (jump jump) MEEEE! Yes, Jesus loves (jump jump) MEEE! I loved hopping on mom right before the last word of a verse. Same with wheels on the bus. I especially loved the people going bumpity bump. Then I hopped down and patted her on the back and said, Ahhhh.
Nigh Nigh!
Day-Day
I’m looking forward to getting Adam’s party over with so we can start focusing on mine. Maybe we’ll have trains or zoo animals for my party theme. My absolute favorite things these days are imitating animal noises. I like to pull out every book I own and hunt for animals in the pages. Of course I still love my ducks. But, I also love pigs. I imitate a pig sound by making snoring noises. It actually sounds pretty close to a real pig. On Sunday, the family went to a village picnic where there was a petting zoo. It was great. Adam and I ran around and pet every animal we could catch. I just went as fast as I could touching each animal once on the butt and then going after the next one. I would point at the chickens and go “bawk bawk bawk.” I would walk up to the sheep and say BAAAAAA! right to their face. I even found a spotted sheep I just called a cow for convenience sake and would shout MOOOOO! It was a lot of fun.
I also have all 4 of my canine teeth coming in at once. This is very painful but I’m a tough kid. At night I like to mimic my brother’s complaints to get mommy and daddy going. For example, I asked to be tucked in and after they turn their back I kick off my blankets and ask to be tucked in again. I have to be careful though because they won’t play that game for long. At night I sleep with Roo (who I call Mouse) and Tigger. Mommy tucks all 3 of us in and give us each a kiss. Then I give them kisses too.
Everything is going well. I love my little sister Ubetah and I try to be gentle around her. I told Mommy we could use even more kids around this house. She just rolled her eyes at me.
Love,
Day-Day
Mommy took me on a date yesterday. We went to the store and she told me I would get to pick out my very own duck. Before we got there she made me sit in the car while we got the emmissions test done (BORING) and then we went to the Disney store! I got a Donald Duck of my very own and 3 baby ducks (Hewey, Dewey and Louie). I like to put my duck in the baby swing and give it kisses on its beak. There is nothing better in this world that a soft and cuddly duck!

Uh-oh! Grandma Karius left on an airplane this morning. She's been my morning buddy for 2 weeks this month. I loved waking up and pointing at her and saying Uh-Oh every morning. She gets my sense of humor. I've been having fun taking care of my little sister Rebekah this month. I like to pet her head and tickle her toes. But, I especially love rolling around in her toys. Aunt Suzy is here now and is my replacement morning buddy. I'll put her to the test and see how she does.
I've started speech therapy and am starting to use my words a lot more these days. Yesterday I pointed at mommy's shelf and said "duh. duh." She has two ducks on her shelf. I also like to say "go, more, bar, and baby."
My latest trick is that every time my parents give me a bath with Adam I poop in the tub. It's pretty funny. I poop and Adam points and says, "Poop! Poop!" Mommy and Daddy don't find it very funny though. Oh well!
Love,
David
P.S. "Uh-oh"
